Job Details

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing client tax returns and financial statements. You will be working with a team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
  • Review financial statements and provide tax planning advice to clients
  • Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
  • Keep up-to-date with tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients accordingly
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer any questions they may have
  • Use Quickbooks and CCH software to prepare tax returns and financial statements
  • Work with public accounting firms to ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies for clients
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience
  • Experience using QuickBooks and CCH software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
