Senior Tax Associate

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established law firm specializing in taxation law, is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional with a background in the legal industry.

As a Senior Tax Associate, you will work closely with attorneys and clients to provide comprehensive tax advice and assistance. You will play a key role in tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research and analysis of complex tax issues

Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships

Assist with tax audits and represent clients in tax controversy matters

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax professionals

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a tax professional in a law firm or legal environment

CPA or JD/LLM degree preferred

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
