We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team. This position presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization. As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for performing complex tax analysis, assisting with tax planning and strategies, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax, a deep understanding of ASC 740, and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and ensure timely submission.
2. Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support tax planning strategies.
3. Assist in the preparation and review of ASC 740 income tax provisions, including deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and tax controls.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for tax reporting.
5. Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation to determine the impact on the company.
6. Assist with tax audits and inquiries by various taxation authorities.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in tax laws to ensure compliance and optimal tax strategies.
8. Develop and implement improvements to tax processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. BS degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Masters in Accounting is preferred.
2. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate tax or a related field. Experience in public accounting is a plus.
3. CPA license is preferred.
4. Proficiency in ASC 740 is a must.
5. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
6. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced functions.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
