Job Role Overview:

Oversee and manage various projects to ensure client requirements are met.

Collaborate with team members at all levels during client projects.

Supervise and review the work of junior accountants across multiple projects, providing feedback and guidance on their performance.

Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Handle the review of complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals across multiple states.

Take on the responsibility of preparing complex tax returns when necessary, including forms 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1065.

Have a comprehensive understanding of estate and trust taxation.

Offer financial planning services to high-net-worth clients, focusing on estate planning, gift strategies, and IRA planning.

Lead the response to tax notices and audits from tax authorities.

Conduct tax research and offer training on various tax-related subjects.

Manage year-end tax assessments, quarterly tax estimates, and develop tax planning strategies.

Directly manage project workflows, client relationships, and a team of accounting professionals.

Provide educational materials and host webinars for clients as required.

Exhibit strong technical tax skills and the ability to build solid client relationships.

Required Qualifications:

3 to 5 years (or more) of experience in public accounting with a focus on managing multiple projects.

CPA certification is highly preferred or required, with a broad knowledge of tax.

Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and QuickBooks software.

Ability to work well within a team, with skills in leadership and staff development.

Strong communication skills, with the capability to solve problems and analyze information effectively. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
