The role:

The Sr. Talent Development Program Manager plays a vital role in cultivating a high-performance culture focused on individual and team growth, inclusive leadership and organizational health. Reporting to the head of Talent Development, they will be an advocate and key driver for talent programs and solutions across SoFi Technologies. They will collaborate with other People team members and leaders across the company to understand the talent and leadership ecosystem; create and/or iterate pathways and programs that enable a high performing culture that fosters inclusion and continuous learning. They will be responsible for managing, improving and executing new and existing efforts related to talent review and succession planning, as well as leadership development and retention. This is a highly impactful opportunity for someone who enjoys alternating between strategy and tactics.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and execute the Talent Review and Succession Planning processes with an emphasis on scale, impact and experience in alignment with policy and board reporting requirements and requests
  • Design and facilitate leadership development programs that enable a culture of high performance, promote strengths and inclusive based leadership and strengthen community
  • Identify areas of opportunity to drive enhancements of the existing talent review process to identify high potential talent, ensure a strong leadership bench and support succession planning efforts
  • Consult with People Leadership and other key leaders to identify current and future competency, skill, and talent gaps and partner with key stakeholders to develop programs and initiatives to address the gaps
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain data to inform and identify participants for targeted leadership development
  • Ensure DE&I metrics are incorporated into the talent strategy and execution of talent development initiatives
  • Develop, execute, and sustain programs and tools for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning and provide appropriate learning for leaders
  • Use data-driven methods to evaluate and report on the effectiveness of talent development programs and provide insights to workforce needs for future success

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 6+ years experience leading organization-wide programs to include talent review, succession planning, coaching and/or leadership development
  • 8+ years facilitating meetings/workshops and presenting to various manager and leadership audiences
  • 3+ years instructional or programmatic design experience
  • Proven systems thinking, data driven decision-making, complex problem solving, partnership driven collaboration and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire leadership and organizational action through compelling, data driven communication
  • Experience capturing metrics and producing impact reports with compelling visualizations
  • Ability to manage multiple high visibility priorities and adapt to evolving information a dynamic work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Nice to have:

  • Masters degree or higher level education
  • Coaching, Organizational Development or HR related certification
  • Spanish proficiency and/or strong partnership with LATAM
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.

Pay range: $118,400.00 - $203,500.00

Payment frequency: Annual
