Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches designs, develops, tests, or supervises the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial industrial, military, or scientific use
Researches and implements integrations between various new/existing systems to provide new functionality
Troubleshoots existing systems and identification of system shortfalls
Researches, identifies, and recommends new innovative systems and technology as well as improvements for existing system functionality
Supports development of new system documentation to support system transition
Develops innovative ways of integrating novel technology into existing PORs
Provides of transition support for newly developed systems Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Secret Clearance (Must be eligible for Top Secret clearance) Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
Ten (10) years of supervisory experience with at least eight (8) of those years of experience must be with SOF C5ISR systems as a systems engineer.
Genuine desire to solve unique, system-level problems
Demonstrated creative, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to solve difficult technical problems with minimal oversight, established directions, or guidance
Collaborative teamwork skills interacting across multiple disciplines including other systems engineers, software developers, integration teams, quality assurance, production personnel, and program managers
Have developed communication skills and the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely, employing technical writing techniquesDESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Active Top-Secret Clearance
Master's Degree in an engineering discipline
Familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) Pipelines (identification, evaluation, integration, testing)
Experience researching, identifying, and transitioning innovative technologies
Familiarity with System Requirements and Key Performance Points Analysis
Experience providing transition support for innovative systems and technology
