Job Description Strategic ACI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering, systems integration, project management, process and schedule documentation to support our customer. You will support the Enterprise Deployment process planning, deployment program coordination, schedule development, mission dependency development and documentation of the deployment of the NCW Enterprise to the new N2W building and shall assist in providing activity oversight and ensure integration and documentation of NCW requirements to support the N2W Program Office. You will also assist with tracking, managing, scheduling and resolving technical issues related to the deployment of the NCW Enterprise to the new N2W Building. You will act as a technical point of contact for many of the N2W deployment activities, work with other teams and organizations within NGA to complete the program and process planning to support the deployment to the new N2W building. As a member of the N2W Deployment team, you shall assist with assessing future deployment requirements and documenting the entire process, to include deployment business processes, schedules and cases for the NGA organization and work side-by-side with contractor and government personnel to ensure issues related to the NCW deployment are addressed. Responsibilities: Support Deployment System Engineering aspects of the NCW Enterprise including: identify, manage, and resolve specific technical requirement issues affecting the deployment of the NCW Enterprise for the new N2W building; assist in performing Analysis of Alternatives (AoA).
Develop Enterprise deployment roadmaps and schedules.
Act as a technical point of contact for many of the N2W Deployment activities, work with other teams to complete studies / research, develop concept of operations (CONOPS) in support of establishing deployment processes and schedules. Assist in the development of mitigation strategies and exception packages related to the Enterprise Deployment to reduce risks to operational continuity. Support planning to include and define mission dependencies and include contingency strategies. Support the process analysis and allocation of requirements to the deployment components and activities for the NCW deployment effort. Provide deployment process management analysis, conduct deployment studies, participate in major reviews, identify solutions, provide recommendations, plan and schedule activities. Advise the government on proposed changes to the Enterprise Deployment solution based on analysis of requirements and schedule constraints.
Develop Deployment team plans and documents (e.g. briefing charts for stakeholder TEMs) to ensure alignment, synchronization, and sequencing with customer needs and expectations. Assist in development of Enterprise Deployment action plans to address known/emerging issues. Perform quality control and quality assurance analysis of schedule and process data to ensure integrity of related data links in an environment of ongoing and continuous schedule data change. Coordinate with other contract/functional areas and with government representatives to ensure shared, consistent understanding of N2W deployment requirements. Generate strategies, schedules, and paths forward for Enterprise Deployment to the N2W building; collaborate with IC and Enterprise Deployment initiatives.
Qualifications: Required: Active TS/SCI Clearance. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering or in a related technical or scientific field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
10 years of demonstrated System Engineering experience on 2 or more, large efforts with complex processes and schedules commensurate with the NCW Enterprise Deployment effort. Resume must articulate dates and duties performed with specific position responsibilities. 3 years of demonstrated experience developing and documenting complex processes and schedules with MS project. In lieu of experience, completed MS Project certification is acceptable.
3 years of demonstrated experience in capturing, documenting and translating customer processes, requirements and solutions.
Desired: Master's degree in System Engineering or in a related technical or scientific field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
5 years of demonstrated experience with developing large and complex Enterprise deployment roadmaps and project plans.
