Summary: SIGINT Systems Engineering Technical Specialist role as a technical member of a dynamic team providing Systems Engineering support to the government Key stakeholder. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead SIGINT integration and closure initiatives for current and future systems through the Systems Engineering lifecycle readiness events
Provide subject matter expertise and best practices to teams reviewing and assessing CONOPS and architecture products
Support the review and assessment of requirements for adequacy to meet the mission needs while assessing system and segment schedule dependencies and risks
Lead readiness and release planning events in support of system acquisition milestones to integrate new systems and initiatives in support of expanded SIGINT mission capabilities
Work directly with the customer, and supporting contractors, to determine the overall maturity of SIGINT acquisitions at each stage of the Intelligence Community Lifecycle acquisition process while adhering to government standards and processes
Provide support and technical consultation, meeting coordination, and support to recommendation briefings and develop initial recommendation for Government leads
Integration and Closure experience within overall SIGINT domain with detailed knowledge of SIGINT systems and overall space and ground architecture
Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment
Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of space and ground architecture
Experience identifying user & enterprise needs/requirements and gap identification, analysis and assessment
• Experience in supporting Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration to accommodate the End to End SIGINT Systems Engineering
Strong understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes
• Proven communication skills especially with senior (O-5 or equivalent and above) government officials Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
Four (4) to eight (8) years of experience in a systems engineering related role
Candidate must have a TS/SCI clearance.
Recent C4I networks or other relevant network experience in the design, integration, analysis, troubleshooting, documenting, programming and operation of computer equipment and networks.
Knowledge of DoD System Architecture and system design documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team oriented environment.
Advanced level user in Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio).
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DoD Systems.
DoD 8570-M IA Workforce Certification - IAT Level 2 with certifications in Linux, Microsoft operating systems, Cisco Routers, or VMWARE.
Experience in supporting security authorization activities in compliance government directives.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and related digital tools
Proficiency in using a Rhapsody or other UML based Architecture tool
Knowledge of standard DoDAF and MoDAF architectural views
Certified in one or more of the following: SAFe, ITIL, PMI/PMP, INCOSE Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $135,000 to $165,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
