Tyto Athene is seeking an experienced Digital Engineer to support our Space Systems Command Special Programs Directorate Technical, Advisory, Research and Development Support Task (STAR DST) contract. We support the Space Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art military satellite and ground systems for space domain awareness and space control missions for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical leaders who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground systems. Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site mission support at the Space Systems Command and/or Aerospace facilities. Maintain and grow existing digital engineering solutions and innovative processes

• Attend planning meetings as necessary to integrate digital solutions into acquisition and operations

• Lead modeling and simulation efforts for Space Domain Awareness or Battle Management customers

• Provide end-to-end systems digital engineering for multiple SSC capability areas

• Support meetings and Program Management Reviews as necessary

• Support the development of acquisition roadmaps for future space warfighting solutions

• Participate in capability gap analysis and identify requirements for future systems

• Assist in development of digital engineering or model-based system engineering solutions and options

• Support SSC customer drafting briefings, papers, and other working documents

• Attend onsite travel requests to support space acquisition development and/or operations as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelors' Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Management or related field, or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in MS Office Products and model-based systems engineering tools

• Proficiency in coding

• Minimum of 3 years total work experience

• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

• Strong oral and written communications skills

• Excellent problem-solving ability

• Current TS/SCI clearance is required for the position Preferred Experience:
• Masters' Degree in Electrical Engineering, Digital Engineering, or related field (preferred)

• On-site operational space support
