Job Details

Our medical industry client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This position offers a great opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification, experience with ASC 842, External Reviews, Audit, and Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work with external auditors
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Assist in the implementation of ASC 842 lease accounting standards
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (No exceptions)
• CPA certification preferred
• Workday experience highly desired
• Experience with ERP Software implementation
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the medical industry or public accounting
• Good job tenure and strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with ASC 842, External Reviews, Audit, General Ledger, Operational Accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
