Our growing International client with a great company culture has an immediate need for a Sr Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Controller you will assist with the preparation of the financial statements, Month End Close, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Cost Accounting, Intercompany entries, Inventory, Monthly debt roll forward and reviews request of funds. The individual also prepares the IFRS reporting package for corporate, and assists in coordinating activities for the annual financial statement audit. This department has a great company culture.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet analysis, and deviation analysis for management reporting
- Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with IFRS
- Preparing monthly general ledger intercompany reconcilements for companies
- Support regulatory compliance reporting requirements
- Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests.
- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
- Preparation & analysis of production line Sales and Cost of Sales by Production line
- Review costs for all external inventory, labor, and material purchases
- Comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS ) for financial statements
- Support Internal and statutory audits
- Maintain company accounting procedures and processes
Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience with a preference for manufacturing or similar industry
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- ERP system experience, Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
