Description
Senior Staff Accountant Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Financial statement preparation for domestic and foreign manufacturing operations
- Financial statement reporting for internal and external statement users
- Budgeting and Forecasting responsibilities
- Month-end closing including payroll accounting, accruals, and reconciliations
- Assist with year-end and interim financial audits
- Assisting with the Cost Accounting process
- Ad hoc reporting and other duties may be assigned.
Senior Staff Accountant Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and cost accounting
- Experience in manufacturing environments preferred

- Highly capable in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word
- Familiarity with accounting systems - experience with Infor XA (ERP) and Prophix (FP&A) is a plus
- Ability to do light programming/query development
- Mathematical skills at the college level
- Above-average reasoning ability
