TITLE: Senior Staff Accountant
TYPE: Direct-Hire
LOCATION: Chalfont, PA
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: On site 2-3 days a week, Hybrid 2-3 days a week.
START DATE: May/June 2024
SHIFT: 8am-5pm, M-F. Busy Season is ME/YE Close
We are looking for a client-facing Senior Accountant due to growth
The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of accounting experience and must be comfortable commuting into Bucks County, PA at least two days a week.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist with for G/L updates and maintenance, AP and AR management, month end reconciliations, M/Q/YE close, etc.
- Prepare monthly financial statements such as balance sheet and income statement.
- Financial statement review and analysis such as budget vs actuals, trend analysis, prior year comparisons, etc.
- Present clients with feedback and recommendations based on the data.
- Perform cash flow forecasting and assist with budgeting.
- Provide IRS audit assistance and other special projects on an as-needed basis.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
Master's degree is a plus
CPA is also a plus but not required. - 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge and experience with QuickBooks (online preferred).
- Expert level experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work with multiple clients & projects while managing deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
