In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries and database structures to support their retail operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders, to understand their data requirements and provide effective solutions. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining the integrity and performance of their database systems, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating efficient data retrieval for various applications and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server (recent experience) - trouble shooting, SQL code and queries
- Experience with SQL DB and Scripting
- Experience with Data visualization
- Experience with Azure - blob storage, data factory (open to AWS)
- Experience with PowerBI, DAX - store procedures, views, functions
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with ETL jobs
- Experience with Snowflake is highly preferred
- Experience with working on existing dashboards
- Reporting - SSIS/SSRS
- Stakeholder interactions and presentations are a plus
