Job Description: Role Summary/Purpose: The Specialist will provide support tasks to include, but not limited to validation requests, assisting with documentation, creating communications, performing transactional targeted reviews, assist with the creation and maintenance of workflows and dashboards. You will also have the opportunity to support special projects as needed. Essential Responsibilities: Support all phases for remediation. Interact effectively with Project Managers and Analysts to validate successful completion of impact analysis and execution. Identify defects found in validation, then assist in investigation, solution and escalation of those defects as needed. Effectively document and communicate validation results. Contribute to and assist in implementing improvements in validation methods and documentation, including the identification and resolution of validation process gaps. Provide overall process support and surveillance as needed. Collaborate with peers and other team members to drive consistency. Coordinate with internal and external customers as necessary Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum of 6 months of banking experience, including handling specialized processes. Ability to work 8a - 5p Monday through Friday, however, must be flexible to work weekends, early mornings, and late evenings dictated by special testing requirements. Travel Desired Characteristics: Working knowledge of SharePoint team site features to include use and workflows. Experience with Synchrony systems of record (FD, NG, etc.) Working knowledge transactional validation, including requirements, development, testing and deployment Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to interact with their team and the different teams on the project. Demonstrated organization and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to make decisions based on quantitative analysis and creative thinking. Strong self-starter balanced with desire to achieve team goals. Ability to manage sensitive issues with uncompromising integrity and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office products Grade/Level: 07 The hourly rate range for this position is $24.00 - $33.50/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience or skill level. Eligibility Requirements: You must be 18 years or older You must have a high school diploma or equivalent You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
