Job Title: Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering - Network Systems Engineering Job Code: 9218 Job Location: Greenville, Texas - (Responsibilities must be performed onsite.) Job Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule - (Every other Friday is a non-workday.) Job Description: L3Harris has an opportunity for an individual to join our diversely skilled engineering team in the design, implementation, and testing of Networking Systems. Job Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. An active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret (SCI) security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Experience performing a system engineering role. Able and willing to travel approximately 10%. Additional Preferred Experience: Experience in Network and Systems Support/Installation, Cisco, Dell Networking OS10, Brocade IOS, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP is highly desirable. Experience with LAN/WAN routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) is highly desirable. Experience with packet inspection tools (WireShark, TCPDump) is highly desirable. Experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows OS is highly desirable. Experience with multicast routing is desired. Knowledge of MPLS and VPNs is desired. Experience with VMWare ESXi and virtual environments. Experience with HAIPE devices is desired.
Able to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Certification.
Able to pass a FAA Class 3 flight physical.
