Salary Range: $116,996 - $210,272 DCS is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team supporting projects in ChemBio Defense and Ground Vehicle Robotics, developing innovative solutions as part of an Agile team of fellow computer engineers and customer stakeholders to solve problems in support of the National Security mission. Essential Job Functions: Architect, design, develop, test, document, and provide support for software products in C or Java. Provide Agile leadership and facilitation with an Agile Release Team building software using various Agile methodologies. Define and coordinate the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tools necessary to reach desired quality levels for fieldable software products. Contribute to scripting and tooling for automated solutions in order to deploy software solutions to integration and staging environments. Define processes and implement tooling to support enterprise software builds and deployments to VMs, container runtimes, and cloud environments. Train and mentor team members in Agile and CI/CD concepts, processes, and procedures. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S.Citizenship is required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and twelve or more years of experience. Active or ability to obtain Secret security clearance. Experience developing user interfaces for remotely-operated and/or autonomous vehicles with QT or other C UI framework. Strong understanding of robotic vehicle interfaces and architectures, such as JAUS, IOP, FACE, and DDS. Proficiency with programming languages, such as Java, C , C/C , InstallScript, Shell Scripting, Batch Scripting. Competence with C and Java unit test and UI automation test frameworks, such as QtUnit, JUnit, JMock, Squish, and Selenium. Proficiency with CI/CD development, build, and provisioning tools, such as Make, Ant, Maven, Git, Subversion, VMware, InstallShield, Visual Studio, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Sonarqube, Ansible, Artifactory, Fortify, Docker, Kubernetes. Ability to Support Technical and Operational Testing in the laboratory or field as required. Desired Skills: Prefer candidates with prior experience with ChemBio software product development. Understanding of Risk Management Framework principles. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be ready to adapt to quickly changing requirements during project lifecycles. Successful candidates will be highly motivated and team-oriented.
