Senior Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview
The Sr. Software Engineer position is a full-time exempt position. The successful candidate will participate in an Agile Effort for advanced weapons in a Digital Environment (DE). The Sr. Software Engineer will be part of a high visibility program writing code for applications that interface with SysML models for US Air Force programs. The successful candidate will communicate with the customer in agile meetings. Responsibilities

• Work as a member of an Agile development team, using cybersecurity and agile software development best practices including regular stand-ups, quality peer reviews, and planning
• Perform a software engineering role for the team

• Support creating software requirements, developing architecture, software development, and software test activities.

• Implement disciplined coding standards to ensure robust, reliable, and maintainable software.

• Experience with the use of business analytics, data mining, data visualization, and data tools is desired

• Document and present technical results to tech leads, management, and/or customers

• Minimal Travel will be required to attend customer meetings, etc.
• Support other duties as assigned
Skills and Competencies

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

• 8-10 years' experience required

• Leadership experience in all phases of Software Engineering including requirements development, design, implementation, test, and integration

• Experience with MS Power Apps, C , or Java
• Ability to innovate and adapt to develop products that meet customer needs

• Basic to proficient level experience with SysML Language, MBSE Methodology, and Cameo Enterprise Architecture or similar tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler) is desired

• Ability to periodically work in a dynamic team environment

• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and design implementations
• Good oral and written communication skills are required

• Ability to organize work and deliver on time work products Clearance
