Senior Software Engineer
6+ months contract with possibility of Extension
San Jose, CA 95110 (HYBRID)
Pays - $85 - $90/hr W2 Depends upon the experience
What you'll do
- Deliver best-in-class, responsive, and scalable solutions ready for mass audiences.
- Drive and implement a variety of innovative, critical initiatives using the latest tools and technologies.
- Design, develop, test, deploy and monitor services and features to enhance security and performance.
- Drive efforts to improve technical quality and solutions through code reviews, architecture reviews, test suite strategy, etc.
Skills: - Passion for building Applications; well thought through end-to-end solutions are second nature to you.
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience building highly-performant and sophisticated web applications using modern development technologies.
- Expertise in designing and building cloud-native microservices.
- Expertise with object-oriented and scripting languages such as Java, and Scala (nice to have).
- Expertise in RESTful web service development.
- Experience with load optimization, cloud deployment strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience implementing event-driven architectures and with orchestration frameworks (i.e., Apache Airflow, Cadence).
- Good written and verbal communication skills and English proficiency.
- Solid foundation in software engineering process & standard methodologies.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
