•Mid-size company with room for growth Position Title : Senior Software Developer Position Location : Government site in Annapolis Junction, MD Description :
•Primary responsibility will be to support an existing development team building performance-monitoring solutions for the Government enterprise systems. The candidate will integrate open source and COTS products in a secure environment with PKI-based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls, and SSL/TLS communications.
•Position leverages the Jenkins automated execution architecture for automated performance checks.
•Leveraging Ansible automation for building production environment
•Instrument different environments in order to capture performance metrics and will build software leveraging REST APIs to automate the capture of metrics.
•Utilize Elastic stack to store performance metrics and develop visualizations of the performance metrics. Qualifications :
•TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
•A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
•Experience with Python, R, Java, JavaScript, or Perl programming
•Familiarity with web application technologies (e.g., html, JavaScript, web servers, and application servers) Desired Experience :
•Experience with AWS Cloud
•Experience with Ansible or Terraform
•Experience with Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)
•Experience with Jenkins
•Experience with Selenium
•Experience with Cisco AppDynamics
•Experience with Micro Focus Business Service Management (BSM) tool suite:
•Micro Focus SiteScope
