Senior Social Analyst (Account Director level)

Note: Open to candidates across major US markets but a preference for talent currently located in Atlanta as this role will be based in Burson's Atlanta office and will include on-site client meetings at the Coca-Cola Company HQ offices.

The Role:

Burson is looking to hire a Senior Social Analyst (Account Director level) to join our Social Listening and Intelligence Analytics team to support several Fortune 50 clients in the tech, audio media, telecoms, and CPG industries including the iconic Coca-Cola Company.

The ideal candidate will be client-facing and have a strong understanding of social media listening, issues and reputation management, cultural and competitor trends, analytics reporting, excellent research and writing skills, and overall, understands the importance of building strategies to support integrated campaigns, with a passion for turning data into stories.

Responsibilities:

Work with the most globally recognized companies in the world, providing social listening, reputation management, intelligence, and strategy to transform brands, captivate audiences and contribute to the world's most innovate work.

Will be working heavily on Consumer Brands/Beverage Industry and/or Corporate Reputation Issues driving culture from both a micro and macro perspective

Dive in headfirst into the client's day-to-day opportunities and challenges, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with them as one team in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment

Monitor, track, and evaluate earned and owned organic campaign performance analytics, based on client KPIs, targets and baselines

Proactively deep dives into data to inform and steer critical decision making, as well as work with complex datasets to aggregate, ingest and organize data in a clean, ready-to-use fashion in order for team to deliver data-led findings in a way that makes sense for each brand

Generate actionable insights using various data sources.

Monitor social channels and analyze company, consumer, and trending conversations.

Provide easy to understand social analytics with strategic implications relating to the overall brand objectives and work within a team to then develop and execute creative digital and social media content and iconic campaigns. from our insights.

Qualifications (Experience that contributes to your success):

5+ years of relevant work experience in social media with both a strategic and analytics background, familiarity with listening, analytics, and strategy combined with issues & crisis experience ideally in an agency environment

Detail-oriented while keeping sight of bigger picture/trends; intellectually curious

Keen eye for data trends and the ability to investigate and extract insights and stories

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Ability to work on a team and mentor junior level team members

Experience leading project teams with ability to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously (across multiple brands)

Strong MS Office knowledge including Excel (pivot tables and Macro knowledge a plus), Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Proficient understanding of social listening particularly with experience using Sprinklr for analytics, in addition to other Boolean Language and platforms, like Brandwatch, Tubular, and Newswhip.

Second language fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or French is a plus
