Role: Senior SDET/Automation Engineer

Location: Alpharetta GA - only local (Hybrid model 3 days from office)

Need Independent visa

Client: Synechron / Brokerage

Rate: $50-55/hr. C2C is fine

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented SDET/Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role will involve collaborating with the development team to implement test automation strategies and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and develop automated test scripts using testing frameworks

Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues

Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline

Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data sets

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects

Identify opportunities for test automation and implement efficient testing solutions

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools for test automation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Proven experience as an SDET/Automation Engineer or similar role

Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C

Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit

Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
