Compensation for this role is $136K - 204K + 10% BIP Position Description: We seek a highly motivated and creative Sr. Scientist to join our R&D team. You will work within a highly dynamic and creative group and be responsible for developing new products and improving current products based on RNAscope technology. Key Responsibilities: Execute ISH/IHC-based assays to support new product development on ACD's multi-omic platforms Responsible for experimental design, assay running, optimization, data collection and interpretation Work closely with our commercial and cross-functional teams to identify and understand customer needs and requirement to facilitate product development Compile and present data to the project team or other departments. Support manufacturing QC for commercial product testing and release Support Technical Support team in troubleshooting on market products, as needed Perform literature searches/attend relevant meeting to stay up-to-date with technology development Supervisor and provide training for junior members in the team Qualifications Qualifications A PhD or equivalent experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or related field with 4-7 years of experience Prior industry experience in assay development in tissue/cell-based assays such as immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization (IHC/ISH), fluorescent microscopy, and imaging Proven skills in experimental design and data analysis, as well as critical review of primary literature Experience in automation (Ventana, Leica, or other related platforms) of IHC and ISH based assays Strong team player and self-starter as well as ability to work independently Strong organization skills and attention to details Good verbal and written communication skills Why Join Bio-Techne: We offer competitive salaries along with extensive medical, vision, and dental plans for you and your family starting on day one.
