Senior SAP TM Consultant

Develop SAP Transportation Management (TM) supply chain solutions. Assess solution feasibility. Implement and integrate SAP TM solution with SAP ERP. Duties include:

1. Partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes, and objectives. Scope project and deliverables to deploy technology driven functionality on SAP business systems;
2. Facilitate the implementation and support of the SAP solutions to suit the clients business requirements, desired functionality, and overall performance;
3. Design and build optimized SAP TM system that seamlessly integrates with 3rd party applications, business partners external carriers/logistics service providers, and other SAP systems. Run end-to-end transportation cycles and GTS for export and import declarations;
4. Capture gaps or additional scope items, and perform analysis and effort estimation to build SAP solutions within agreed timeline and budget;
5. Document solution using tools, such as SOLMAN; ticket management tools and test repositories, such as HP ALM; and change management tools, including Service now.

May telecommute from any US location.

Requires 80% travel to unanticipated client sites for SAP implementation.
All requirements:

9 years of experience in a computer systems analyst-related occupation.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in a computer systems analyst-related occupation.

Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:

1) 5 years of experience designing, configuring, implementing, and integrating SAP ECC 6.0 or higher with at least two full cycle SAP implementations;
2) 5 years of experience analyzing As-is and developing To-be business processes by identifying gaps and translating them into SAP solutions;
3) 5 years of experience working on all phases of SAP ECC implementations and building SAP ECC or TM functionality;
4) 5 years of experience writing functional development specifications to guide code development, to build any non-standard SAP functionality, and to estimate functional and development efforts;
5) 3 years of experience deploying new or additional functionality using ASAP and Agile methodology during SAP projects;
6) 3 years of experience with ABAP framework;
7) 3 years of experience using tools to document business processes, specifications, and end users as well as to track defects on SAP implementation projects;
8) 2 years of experience designing, configuring, and implementing SAP TM version 9.1 or higher;
9) 2 years of experience working with clients business teams as well as with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build end-to-end solutions in SAP.
