Job Details

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Ruby Engineer to join our dynamic remote team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, innovative, and collaborative individual with a deep understanding of RoR, JavaScript, React, ReactJS, and Golang. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, challenging projects in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of our engineering team, working on the design, development, and deployment of our core products and services. With an emphasis on continuous learning and growth, we are committed to providing our team members with an environment that fosters personal and professional development.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure code using Ruby on Rails.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
4. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
5. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
6. Write well designed, testable, efficient code.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
2. Proficiency in JavaScript, React, ReactJS, and Golang.
3. Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs.
4. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, and SQL.
5. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
6. Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
7. Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for tackling complex technical challenges.
