Senior Research Associate

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, experienced scientist to join the Lipid Nanopartical (LNP) Formulations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in applying Tome's novel technologies to develop the next generation of in vivo and ex vivo therapeutics. Primary Responsibilities: Formulate Lipid Nanoparticles for gene editing Screen lipids and formulation methods for optimal delivery of programmable gene insertion cargo Perform and develop lipid nanoparticle analysis (DLS, Ribogreen assay, HPLC, etc.) Work as part of a cross-functional team, providing high quality material and scientific input to various teams within the company Present data within and across teams Contribute to project strategy and effectively manage timelines Qualifications: BS (1-3 yrs.) or MS (0-2 yrs.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or other related scientific discipline. Industry experience is preferred Experience using gene-editing tools is desired Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and changing environment Excited about joining an amazing team doing groundbreaking work.
