Senior Research Associate

The Senior Research Associate will work closely with the Director of Research and the Senior Advisor of BBI in a fast-paced environment to conduct complex statistical analyses on disability related research questions and produce high-quality papers for prestigious journals. This includes leading projects using robust research designs such as randomized control trials, quasi-experimental designs, and other intervention methods with an understanding of contemporary disability policies and issues. In this mission critical position, the candidate will provide essential expertise in quantitative research methods to the BBI research team and contribute to the creation of new project proposals. They are also expected to contribute to the development of study designs, research questions, survey questionnaires, and strategies for data analysis. Additionally, they will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on quantitative data. The Senior Research Associate will be responsible for completing high quality project deliverables on the timelines identified in the grant award and project work plan and for providing guidance to project staff in terms of appropriate research methods, analysis, and reporting. This position is anticipated to be filled in the Syracuse, New York area. Candidates may be considered on a fully remote basis if residing outside of the Syracuse/Central New York area. Not all geographical areas within the United States are eligible.
