Job Description and Requirements: Monmouth County Health Department is seeking a Full-Time (35 hrs./week) experienced Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS). Under direction, will perform various inspections, plan reviews, and complaint investigations in the enforcement of local, County, and State health regulations, including NJ State Sanitary Code, NJ DEP septic/well regulations, NJ DCA Housing Code, and the NJ Public Health Nuisance Code. Must possess a valid NJ driver's license and active New Jersey REHS license. Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor License preferred. At least 2 years' experience working as a REHS is required. After-hours On Call Duty rotation and some weekend/evening availability is required for inspection of special events. Please be advised, all Monmouth County positions are on on site.
