Job Summary

Responsible for providing offnet access quote responses to the sales organization within the stated SLA response time. Respond to a variety of cost and product questions pertaining to an offnet sales deal. Negotiate strategic deals to meet the desired customer target cost by creatively bundling multiple deal points with a variety of vendors. Act as 2nd level escalation contact point for team escalations. Act as an auditor of offshore activities and drive improvement in any areas that are underperforming. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Source and negotiate access pricing for complex and multi-site deals that meet or beat the desired financial targets.
  • Leverage multiple vendors to provide the most optimal access method and cost solution.
  • Liaise with the sales and product organizations to understand deal financials and targets.
  • Liaise with the operational organization to understand impact of selected vendors on operational performance and leverage pricing, footprint and operational capabilities to find the most optimal vendor.
  • Investigate and identify any additional costs for deals ahead of time, negotiate to lower or waive where possible and communicate to sales, product and operational organizations.
  • Act as lead liaison in coaching and managing offshore quote team which includes audits into performance, ongoing training and communication improvements.
  • Support the creation and utilization of team metrics to drive improvements.
  • Lead, mentor and provide guidance to quoters, as necessary.
  • Assist in escalations with sales, product and operations teams, as necessary.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree
