Senior Property Accountant Position
About the Real Estate Company
- CFS of New York is working with a full service rea estate investment company as they are looking for a Senior Property Accountant to join their team
- Our client specializes in the development of commercial buildings, mixed use, and healthcare facilities.
- This role reports to the Controller and will be asked to go into the office daily in their Purchase, NY location

Responsibilities of the Senior Property Accountant
- Preparing monthly reports on the Commercial property business including all active properties that the firm works with
- Reviewing the budgets for the construction including working on conducting monthly requisitions for contractors
- Comply with the development of accounting policies and procedures
- Comply with internal controls policies and procedures
Qualifications of the Commercial Property Accountant
- 3-5 years experience of relevant accounting experience in Real Estate
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA is a plus
- Experience working with an ERP system such as Yardi, MRI or Deltek is a plus; strong Excel skills
