Job Details

Our rapidly growing technology company is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the accounting functions of our property portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with our property management team to ensure that all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions of our property portfolio, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare journal entries as needed
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management, including variance analysis and budget vs. actual analysis
• Work closely with property management team to ensure that all financial data is accurately recorded and reported
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, tenants, and other stakeholders
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in property accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
