Based out of our Atlanta, GA, or other US office, you will support projects for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) . DTRA projects are internationally delivered (some with CONUS-based teams), challenging, demanding, and exciting. We are currently seeking an experienced, CONUS-based, senior project manager to support current and future work assignments for DTRA. As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for the management of CONUS and OCONUS projects including stakeholder management, client engagement, subcontractor oversight and management; financial management; risk management; resource management; health and safety, security, quality, environmental compliance, and change management. Some projects require expatriate assignments and others do not. All projects require occasional CONUS and OCONUS temporary duty travel. Specific responsibilities for a Senior Project Manager include: Here's what you'll need: Manage task orders and multinational project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects within budget and schedule, including oversight of human resources, finance/accounting, legal, compliance, procurement, information security, engineering, construction, and operations. Directly interface with the client (DTRA) to ensure timely support for contract deliverables and the end customer's needs. Function as an operations lead for the development of task order proposals. Assist with business development efforts for pursuing new task orders by support proposal development with technical writing, estimating/pricing, pursuit strategy development, and coordination of subcontractor scope development. Ability to interact with Jacobs' staff located in various countries and coordinate work activities to achieve project requirements. Manage Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), quality, risk, and security oversight of the project, including construction activities and project operations under challenging conditions. Direct project work across multiple countries and time-zones, necessitating a flexible work schedule. Ability to deploy as an expat, if required. • B.S./B.A. degree in technical area or management.
• 15 to 20 years (minimum) of progressive project management experience
• Experience in design and construction management of health facilities or laboratories, including design development/oversight, knowledge of construction processes, subcontractor management, scheduling, cost management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to lead a diverse group of science, engineering, construction, HSE, security, procurement, and administrative staff to support the project.
• Familiarity with federal contract requirements, and ability to provide oversight of procurement staff that contracts with U.S. and international subcontractors and vendors.
• Proven project management skills in international environments.
• Experienced utilizing Quality Management Systems.
• Experienced meeting or exceeding project HSE and Security requirements.
• Ability to identify project risks and work with teams to develop and implement risk mitigation plans. Ideally, You'll Also Have:
• M.S./M.A. degree in technical area or management. Federal client project or program management experience. Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
