Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior Project Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Service clients in Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities :

Work closely with business partners to understand needs, define cross functional plan, project scope etc.

Create Project plan in line with the client's Project Management Methodology

Review plans and milestones with Project Board and Programme Board; obtain approval for changes

Manage risk, issues, dependencies. Clear path/escalate accordingly

Enter and maintain RAG/Schedule date/comments milestones

Raise change control requests (as required)

Support quality assurance reviews

Manage Project Financials

Should be able to interact with Senior Management and articular/escalate issues

Manage delivery objectives within scope of this project

Document project artifacts include requirements etc

Report metrics to ensure project deliveries are tracked, accurately reported, and met

Follow the client's Project framework and familiarity with Agile

Required Skills:

Demonstrate strong leadership, influencing and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Fixed Income settlements is required

Knowledge of Sponsored Repo is required

Builds cross regional relationships and must be open to working different time zones globally

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Visio required.

Preferred Skills:

+7 years' experience in Project Management preferred.

Familiarity with Agile preferred.

Prior experience with Regulatory deliveries preferred

Prior experience working with FICC preferred
