THE ROLE: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Our Senior Project Manager is responsible for working with the cross-functional team within OLLY to own and drive commercialization of our new products as well as optimization of the current OLLY portfolio, with a focus on the most complex, ambiguous, and accelerated projects. You willpartner with theProjectManagement Director to drive PMO strategy and are responsible for driving key process and tool improvements both for the PMO and the broader organization. Reporting to our Project Management Director, this high-impact role will ensure OLLY continues to deliver amazing product experience, hit timeline requirements, and meet our internal cost and quality metrics as we continue to rapidly expand our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently lead cross-functional project teams in the development and commercialization of products, particularly where there is heightened complexity, ambiguity, or acceleration - ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, on- budget and on-strategy. Create and trouble shoot project plans that seamlessly integrate workstreams between all cross functional teams.
  • Lead stage gate presentations with Leadership Team to make go-forward decisions on product launches, including coaching and guiding team to prep appropriate information and details for effective decision making.
  • Manage product changes by guiding decision making on project scope, creating project schedules and liaising with Operations to ensure a seamless transition Interface with both internal and external partners; remove barriers by pre- emptively identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial/scenario analysis and manage BOM setup process with the master data manager.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across process, ways of working and tools. Work with stakeholders to define solutions, drive cross-functional alignment, and manage implementation and adoption.
  • Lead key strategic initiatives and ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of Project Management fundamentals and best practices (PMP or similar training/experience) and contribute to the coaching and growth of the team.

THE CANDIDATE
You are a strong team player with a bias for action and creative problem solving, always thinking about contingencies and keeping options in your back pocket for those just-in-case situations. You have a keen attention for detail that helps keep people organized and on task. You excel at distilling complex issues into Cliffs Notes summaries for all levels of the organization and use your great communication skills to forge strong relationships with our external partners.

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 7-10 years of experience in project management or new product innovation at a CPGcompany
  • Proven excellence leading and managing project teams in a highly collaborative and fast-paced business environment, including experience with highly complex programs orinnovation.
  • In depth knowledge of Project Management fundamentals and bestpractices
  • Dynamic problem solver - comfortable challenging assumptions and offering solutions with incompleteinformation
  • Transparent, open communicator - great listener who can read between thelines
  • Ability to balance competing interests and ensure all objectives across multiple projects are met in a timelymanner
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Great technical prowess - Excel and other MS Office products, expertise with Gantt Charts and eitherWrike or similar project management software tools (Asana, Microsoft Project, etc.), background and strong interest in process development and project managementprinciples
  • Master Data, Continuous Improvement principles, and managerial or coaching experience aplus

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Round 1: Conversation with the Hiring Manager + 1-2 conversations with other Ollies on the team
  • Round 2: 2-3 conversations with team or cross functional Ollies
  • Final Round: Homework

THE DETAILS

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid schedule. Relocation support will be provided for out-of- areacandidates.

HOURS: Full time, exempt (salary)

MANAGER: Project Management Director

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The pay range for this position is $137,000 - $167,000 dependent on experience and location.
