Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure Construction Job ID 156285 Posted 28-Feb-2024 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Construction, Design, Project Management Location(s) Charlotte - North Carolina - United States of America About the role The purpose of the Senior Project Manager position is to support individual, multi-disciplined real estate project solutions for industrial and infrastructure clients, with direct accountability for project delivery. The ideal candidate will lead a team of project managers working on infrastructure and industrial building-type projects (ground-up and retrofit), large site development projects, manufacturing facilities, or data centers. What you'll do Leads all facets of project and program management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for multi-asset facility projects related to HVAC asset assessments and replacements, roofing replacements, and roadway assessments. Oversees infrastructure construction and renovation projects and ensures detailed staff understands and implements safety requirements, operations, policies, and procedures. Conduct periodic site visits to lead all aspects of the progress of construction and monitor the status of work completed during the delivery schedule. Applying CBRE standards to multifaceted real estate documents related to agreements, contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings. Manages regional project reports, stewards account-specific Key Performance Indicators, and promotes overall program improvements. Performs training and ongoing mentoring for junior-level staff. Building relationships with clients to ensure projects are being delivered against established expectations and to explore opportunities for program improvements. Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; conducts standard requests for proposals; completes bid analysis; recommends resources to clients. Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources briefed. What you'll need Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/Bang/BArch) required from College or University. Minimum six years of experience in industrial or infrastructure construction project management. Prior experience with reading and understanding architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drawings. Prior experience managing budgets, schedules, and cost.
