Senior Project Engineer

Position: Senior Project Engineer Work location: Dallas, Texas Wage: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 / per year Job Duties: Under the supervision of a Project Manager, assist in the planning, organization, control, integration and completion of construction projects. Duties may include preparing work scopes and organize cost structure. Prepare General Contractor shop drawings under direction of Superintendent for use by builders. Participate In job layout and verify elevations and dimensions. Review all subcontractor and vendor shop drawings, product data, samples, manuals, etc. for compliance with contract documents. Monitor testing and inspection records and reports and safety inspection and accident logs and reports. Identify and formalize changes in the project and prepare estimate of change order work as needed. Resolve conflicting, incomplete or ambiguous design information, and interface with designers, engineers and clients to resolve constructability issues. Document solutions using RFI. Update billing and tracking and forecast project budgets. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a civil engineering position in the commercial construction industry. Special Requirements: Position requires at least 1 year of experience in each of the following skills Autodesk packages such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Contractor facing authoring and collaboration tools such as Revit and AutoCAD. Implementation and support of Autodesk BIM 360 Field. Reflects base salary.
