Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to work with us on our Federal Strategic Cyber program located in Arlington, VA.

Location: Arlington, VA

flexible for occasional telework. You must be local to work location and able to work on site as needed.

In this role, you will:

Lead and manage project development from inception to deployment, with expertise in cybersecurity, cyber operations, Information Technology (IT)/communication and international business opportunities and/or projects.

Direct all phases of projects from inception through completion.

Be responsible for all financials, cost, schedule and technical performance of multiple projects or major tasks.
Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs.

Demonstrate capability to effectively manage multiple cybersecurity, information technology, communications and/or international business projects.

Need to have the ability to drive performance in a team environment, with responsibilities to assist in the development of new technologies to address cybersecurity challenges to include advanced visualization solutions, exfiltration detection modeling and analysis, malware detection and automated analysis and modeling, sandbox analysis systems.

Participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.

Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.

Act as primary customer contact for project/task order activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Develop a performance measurements framework and facilitate feedback system to team members on issues such as customer service, communication, and technical skills, in order to enhance the quality of support delivered.

Develop and demonstrate an understanding of customer and business needs.

Resolve escalated customer, teammate and vendor issues.

Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.

Maintain a high level of employee morale within the team by creating a high-performance organization.

Assist in the professional and technical development of team leaders enabling them to set technical goals, monitor, mentor, and coach and assist team members to deliver quality support.

Assist the Department/Program Manager with the preparation and administration of departmental budgets, business plans and metrics.

Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years' related experience; may have supervisory or management experience.

Minimum of 12 years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.

Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either a project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager.

Demonstrated success leading teams/organizations to achieve a common goal.

U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment and may be required to successfully complete the polygraph process.

Target Salary Range:
$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
