We are looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed and innovative Sr. Product Manager - Technical to join the Canada Customer Experience team. Amazon Canada is a fast-growing business where our business model is evolving with technology and industry trends.

Improving catalog quality to create a perfect shopping experience for customers is critical to our business. We need to understand the end-to-end architecture of Localization and Catalog pipelines and identify where architectural changes would allow Canada to benefit from catalog enrichments in other marketplaces. We also need to define the requirements for Canada to leverage Large Language Models for marketplace specific use-cases for the right bilingual experience.

The Sr. Product Manager - Technical is a proven, well-rounded problem solver who will own and drive this charter. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, adaptable and enjoys the intellectual challenge associated with learning, launching, and evolving the products which drive our business. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment and be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically by diving deeply into business and technical domains to unlock opportunities and course-correct as required. You will need to be comfortable interfacing and influencing across a variety of functional and technical teams, and with individuals at senior levels. As part of your work with global business and technology teams, you must have the leadership presence and communication skills to drive change.

Key job responsibilities

• Effectively work back from the customer to define the ambiguous into meaningful problem statements and solutions

• Build roadmaps that prioritize development based on business impact

• Calculate quantitative value for prioritization and development justification

• Manage the end-to-end development process from problem identification, requirements gathering, solution design, coding, and implementation

• Communicate complex requirements, project status, and tradeoffs, across tech and business stakeholders spanning all organization levels

About the team
The Canada Customer and Seller Experience Team (CCSX) owns the end to end CX for the customer shopping journey (search, discovery, purchasing, delivery, and post-delivery experience) on the Amazon.ca store. We launch new products and features to enhance the CX and act as the Voice of the Customer to influence various WW teams to enhance the Canadian store experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Strong analytic skills with experience using qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop business strategies
- Team oriented with strong written and oral communication skills, ability to prioritize effectively to manage multiple projects and meet demanding timelines
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively to manage changing priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA
- 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in SQL and/or Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
