Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them.
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Required Keywords; (PROCUREMENT OR CONTRACT OR SUBCONTRACT OR PURCHASING OR BUYER OR BUYING OR SUPPLIER OR SUPPLY CHAIN ) AND (COST OR SALES OR NEGOTIATIONS OR ORDER OR PRICING) AND (FAR15 or FAR12 OR "FAR 15" OR FFP OR CPIF OR TCPD OR "ACQUISITIONS REGULATIONS" OR FAR OR DFAR
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, business, or finance.
- Bachelor s degree in business, procurement, supply chain, finance, or technical discipline.
- Strong data analytics usage (MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, etc ) and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supplier management and contract negotiations.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, specifically Aerospace.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management.
- Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred.
- Experience with federal acquisitions regulations, defense federal acquisition regulations, and commercial practices.
- Significant experience managing long-term supply agreements and subcontracts (FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.).
- Ability to negotiate terms and conditions.
