JOB SUMMARY -

Senior project leader responsible for overall success of multiple software system integration projects including multiple product implementations of over $1 million revenue from inception to installation to include managing project scope, design, budget, resources, deliverables, client relationship, issue escalation and resolution. Work closely with cross function divisions including sales, R&D, product development and related teams. Exercises independent discretion in developing internal guidelines and implement or creates best practices. Implement change management strategies to control scope and obtain additional funding as necessary. Ensure the project team proactively identifies and troubleshoots critical issues, maintains and prioritizes project issue lists, suggests solutions, and escalates when appropriate. Make certain all issues are driven to closure.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -

  • 6 years of experience in related technical field.
  • Experience in the supply chain industry.
  • Experience working in a client/customer facing role within a supply chain or software organization.
  • Up to 50% travel required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS -

  • Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related field.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Supports sales activities by assisting with preliminary functional design and gap analysis.
  • Seeks opportunities to up-sell additional products and services.
  • Has developed expertise with multiple products, typically within a similar application suite.
  • Responsible for leading all design activities across large, multiple product implementations. This typically involves developing integration solutions for complex efforts between multiple software vendors and multiple software solutions.
  • Mentors and trains newer design leads provide career guidance and may conduct performance reviews.
  • Provides base enhancement suggestions to MA's Product Management.
  • Minimum of 50% travel required.

  • Has comprehensive knowledge of particular product or platform to support the completion of complex assignments.
  • Primary contribution is leading others and ensuring the completion of tasks.

  • Operates with considerable latitude. May develop solutions to non-routine issues, without appreciable guidance from others.
  • Reaches decisions under conditions of uncertainty.
  • Errors in judgment or failure to achieve objectives would result in significant project delays and significant expenditure of resources to rectify.
  • Uses judgment and discretion to determine work priorities, receiving little instruction from others.

Problem Complexity/Decision Making Authority -

  • Resolves complex problems where the issues are difficult to identify and facts may be insufficient or misleading.
  • Employs creative and innovative thinking to bring successful resolution to high-impact, complex problems.
  • Approves basic changes to project scope.

Client Relationship Skills -

  • Serves as a project manager during Phase 1, with day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the clients achieve quality products and timely services.
  • Requires regular contact with client.
