Our client, a worldwide media & entertainment brand is searching for a Senior Platform Engineer to add to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Vendor Based Software support experience
- Engage as technical point of contact with vendors, peers, and infrastructure operations partners.
- A basic understanding of security best practices and experience implementing them - engaging the vendor as needed
- Provide support for multiple levels of testing prior to upgrades or releases of new infrastructure, software, and service layer components.
- Perform daily activities to ensure availability and stability
- Participate in evaluating, developing, and implementing tools and automation to facilitate platform maintenance and administration to ensure operational efficiency, and reliability.
- Potential 24/7 on call support per the established policies and procedures including the Incident, Problem and Change Management Processes
- Participate in planning and executing projects for business unit initiatives and updating existing infrastructure, roadmaps, products and/or services.
- Proactively ensure compliance with Security standards
- Create and maintain required system documentation
