Senior Oracle DBA Secret Cleared with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join a federal program based in Fort Belvoir, VA on a hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week) basis. This position requires a SECRET clearance. Responsibilities of the Senior Oracle DBA: Manage and maintain Oracle databases, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
Administer OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) platform.
Handle tasks in a Linux environment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Provide support for MySQL databases, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database systems for efficiency and scalability.
Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
Conduct regular monitoring and proactive maintenance to ensure high availability and reliability of database systems.
Qualifications of the Senior Oracle DBA: 5+ years of experience with the design, installation, configuration, administration, patching, upgrades, tuning, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting of Oracle Enterprise Database in a Linux environment on virtual servers
Preferred experience with Oracle 19c or higher, MySQL 8 or higher, PostgreSQL 13.7 or higher and Oracle BI (OBIEE) 12
Active Security+ REQUIRED
Active Secret clearance REQUIRED
Compensation for the Senior Oracle DBA: Salary: $130,000-155,000/year flexible based on experience
