We provide end-to-end space solutions - from ground control systems to on-orbit sensors - to keep our customers informed and ahead of the threat. Each day, ground stations receive vast amounts of data from satellites in orbit. Using complex algorithms, they process all of the bits and bytes received and turn them into useable information for the end users who consume this data. As the volume of data grows, ground stations need to evolve and adapt. In this role you will work as a Database engineer onsite with a team of skilled Software Engineers developing Satellite Ground Stations Software. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Perform software development of large-scale database solutions. Troubleshoot and fix complex software problems. Performance tuning of database objects and queries. Installation, patching, and upgrades of Oracle Database Software. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Oracle 11g/12c RAC Database Administration experience. Experience with BASH or other similar scripting language. Experience with Oracle WebLogic Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
