Senior Optical Engineer

Job Description:

Skills Required + Years of Experience

1. 5+ years experience Understanding of optics.

2. 5+ years of experience - Procurement, characterization, & alignment of optical components; experience with lab equipment such as mechanical fixtures, function generators, oscilloscopes, and I/O interfaces for automation

3. 5+ years of experience - Optical simulations and/or coding for optical algorithms, station development (e.g. Python), and data analysis (e.g. JMP).

" General optics knowledge, optical simulation experience (e.g. Zemax, Code V, LightTools, FRED), and a mix of hardware and software knowledge (Python, measure & test, station development & calibration, data acquisition), alignment of optics, data analysis

This role is hardware and software which gives good experience into: design and test/manufacturing, working in the lab and supporting overseas manufacturing.
