For this opportunity they are looking for a Senior Network Engineer III to join their team on a full-time basis.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing modern edge connection technologies such as software defined networking (SD-WAN), secure access service edge (SASE), or other methods to support IT initiatives. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in SDWAN, cloud networking, with a great understanding of best practices and hands-on implementation experience. As well as, experience with VMWare Networking Technologies, having proficiency in managing and configuring VMWare network environments, including NSX and vSphere, to ensure seamless virtualization and cloud integration.

This will be a full-time direct hire opportunity, with a primarily remote environment and occasional hybrid responsibilities. Their office is in the North Dallas area. Required Skills & Experience
  • Software defined networking (SD-WAN)
  • Cloud Networking
  • VMWare Networking Technologies: NSX and vSphere - with proficiency in managing and configuring VMWare network environments.
  • Deep knowledge of advanced security protocols and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS)
  • Network automation skills using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Cisco DNA Center)
  • Experience in designing and implementing network disaster recovery plans.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements related to network security, including those relevant to manufacturing and corporate IT (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Strong ability to collaborate with other IT teams.
  • Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with networking solutions tailored to manufacturing environments, such as those from Rockwell Automation and Siemens
  • A bachelor's degree and 10 years of IT Systems Engineering and Operations experience is preferred for this position.
