" Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
" Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
" Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
" Monitor network resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
" Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
" Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
" Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company s security team
" Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

" What are the must have skill sets (technical/functional) which are required?
1. MPLS, Cisco ACI, CISCO Client, SD-WAN technologies, Wireless
2. F5 load balancing, Infoblox, SolarWinds
3. 7 years of networking experience
4. Cloud-based connectivity (AWS, Azure)
5. RoIP, Multicast, Voice over WLAN, WiFi
6. Packet decoding technology
7. Experience with NERC CIP environments

" What are the top nice to have skill sets? Firewall exp, RoIP, Multicast

" What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)? Team player, good listener.

" What education and certifications/licensures are required? Bachelor, Other Education: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Math or Business or technical equivalent.

" Are there any specific companies/industries or ideal background you d like to see in the candidate s experience? Sure, utility exp would be nice, mainly for the compliance experience.
