Overview of Role


The Senior Marketing Associate will play a key role in supporting Great Lakes Advisors' marketing efforts. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies, with a focus on creating compelling content and materials to drive engagement and growth.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Managing creation and updates of monthly and quarterly marketing materials, including factsheets and marketing pitch books.
  • Serve as partner to Sales and Distribution by leading the creation of client presentations, custom marketing pieces and finals presentations.
  • Manage the presentation and sales collateral library by maintaining, reviewing, and publishing of all marketing collateral on Seismic.
  • Manage the firm's social media platforms, develop and execute e-campaigns, and create engaging graphic and content designs to drive marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with external marketing team to create compelling marketing collateral to drive the sales effort.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing events, including webinars and industry conferences.

Experience, Skills, and Competencies Required

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Illustrator
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Self-starter with high initiative and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively in a team and build the trust and confidence of colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Preferred knowledge of Salesforce, Seismic, and SS&C APX.
