Job Details

SUMMARY:
As our Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will multitask in several areas of manufacturing. You will take a product from prototype to final product by building tooling and fixtures as well as some programming.

MUST HAVES:
  • Design for Fixturing & Tooling.
  • Programming for CNC Machines where you can take models from Engineering and create the parts. (Mastercam, Solid Edge, etc )
  • Lean Manufacturing to maximize the efficiency of production. Multi-axis Machines.

TEAM Layout
  • 80 people in total.
  • 10 People on the engineering team with a mixture of Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Product, and Service Engineers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop new approaches to improve the manufacturing operation.
  • Work with engineering to ensure product performance.
  • Make preliminary sketches, schematics, or diagrams for project proposals.
  • Plan and execute the development of suitable design concepts.
  • Use project management techniques to plan and control projects.
  • Work to obtain the best costs on manufacturing projects.
  • Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure best results.
  • Keep up with the latest state-of-the-art technology through schooling and seminars.
  • Maintain a permanent file for each major project.
  • CNC programming skills necessary.
  • Perform other functions as assigned, including compliance with federal regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors in Engineering
  • 5+ Years of professional engineering experience.
  • Experience programming CNC and Multiaxis Machines.
