The WICT Network ( ) is a dynamic organization that develops women leaders in media, entertainment and technology. Based in Washington, DC with chapters around the globe, we operate under the core philosophy that advancing the position and influence of women in the workplace advances society as a whole.

In this role, the incumbent will assist the fundraising efforts by researching and developing new sponsor leads critical to The WICT Network's continued success and growth. In this forward-facing role, the Senior Manager will travel to local and global programs and events in support of our stakeholders, while working to diversify The WICT Network's portfolio and revenue streams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all revenue-driving initiatives for the organization.
  • Assist with aspects of sponsor benefit delivery, including onsite activation, recognition in marketing materials, emails, press releases, slide decks, signage, website and other printed and electronic materials.
  • Gather data for and produce customized mid- and year-end fulfillment reports (return on investment reports/ROI) for each partner, which serve as a dashboard for partner engagement and play a pivotal role in building internal company support for annual renewals.
  • Maximize partners' visibility and sponsor experience by providing value-added opportunities when appropriate and possible.
  • Assist with awards luncheon fundraising, including sales and marketing strategy as well as promotional outreach.
  • Deliver post-event follow-up including thank-you and FMV letters in collaboration with the executive office.
  • Manage program registrations and memberships embedded within partnership agreements.
  • Research prospective sponsors, assist with outreach and new partner cultivation.
  • Manage grant requests and all associated reports, including interim and year-end reports.
  • Respond to inquiries with precision and urgency and perform active follow-up to ensure sponsor satisfaction.
  • Travel to major events and programs as needed to support sponsor benefit fulfillment.
  • Become a super-user of the organization's CRM system and assist with pulling data, reports and lists for various departments as needed and required.
  • Assist with invoicing & payments, maintaining proper records and reporting.
  • Knowledgeable in operating office equipment.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in business development, communications, marketing or related fields. Prefer non-profit or association experience.
  • Dependable and highly organized with business maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive go-getter attitude.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with ability to prioritize workload.
  • General understanding of department financials and ability to work within designated budgets.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Position is eligible for two days telework. Incumbent must be located in the Washington, DC area.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
