Position overview

The Sr. Manager, Compensation & Quota Strategy will be responsible for quota setting and compensation administration across the Sales and Customer Success organizations. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Operations, this role will lead the global Comp & Quota team in establishing best-in-class compensation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the go-to-market engine aligns to the company's thematic goals, strategic pillars and long-term operating plan
  • Lead annual global compensation plan strategy, guidelines, development and documentation
  • Drive Global annual commissions planning strategy & execution
  • Partner with Commercial leadership to design incentive programs that motivate sellers to achieve / exceed their sales and revenue goals
  • Support escalations and provide clarification on the application of compensation program policies and procedures, as required
  • Own the annual hiring plan for all the sales and customers success team-members within the global Commercial organization
  • Track attainment insights across the Commercial teams
  • Analyst sales performance results and make recommendations to Commercial leaders, Finance and HR
  • Oversee the commissions setup, processing and analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy of commissions payments
  • Manager global distribution of plans
  • Provide visibility into plan/quota/attainment as well as payout information
  • Compile analytics around commissions/bookings/revenue/attainment/ramp
  • Work closely with Finance organization on commission payroll activities and Sales / Customer Success organizations on inquiries, schedules and exceptions
  • Establish yourself as a cross-functional resource to identify, design and implement business processes that increase Commercial productivity and remove bottlenecks

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 8+ years experience in Commercial Strategy & Operations or SaaS Finance
  • Successful record of working with senior leaders in B2B SaaS Commercial organizations
  • Exceptional quantitative and MS Excel skills, and ability to visualize data in a story-telling manner
  • Proven leader and mentor
  • Possess a broad understanding of sales, channel and business operations within the SaaS industry
